My dad has lived at Mountain View for years now and I have to say, they have a great crew. Laura and Donye in the office are always a pleasure to deal with. Dad is in his 80's now and is having trouble getting around, so they were able to move him from the second floor to a first floor wheel chair accessible unit with a walk in shower. The maintenance guys Nate and Jared have always responded in a timely manner if anything is needed which is awesome. They keep the property looking good and clean year round and they make sure everything is in working order. Only good things to say about the staff and Mountain View!

My dad has lived here for a few years, and he has been lucky enough to have these fine folks from Mountain View in the office. Laura and Donye have been awesome as he grows older and have done everything that they can do to accommodate him as he is in his 80's and having a tough time getting around. He was on the second floor, but Donye brought to my attention that a first floor accessible unit with a walk-in shower was coming available and we moved him into that unit. Nate and Jared on the maintenance crew are excellent and actually respond in a timely manner if there is an issue. They keep the property grounds clean and know what they are doing when it comes to fixing things and if they can't fix it, they get someone in there quickly who can. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

My daughter just moved into a 2 bedroom. The grounds are immaculate, the apartment is not luxury, but very nice with great windows and newer carpet. They overlook a green belt and there is a fire pit out front with chairs. The move in process and details were made seamless by Donye in their office. She quickly answered questions as we were signing the lease and helped us on move-in day as well. They also rekey the locks between tenants, so a little extra safety is reassuring.

After five years at Mountainview we moved back to the east coast. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mountainview. The staff is the best. Donye, Nate, Laura and Gerry made living there wonderful. They are the most friendly and helpful people you could ask for. We will miss them terribly. If we move back in a year, we will definitely head straight back to Mountainvirw.

Donye truly does such a fantastic job. She was my main point of contact over the year and a half I lived here. She was easy to communicate with, and always eager to help. I would recommend my friends and family to live here. It’s pet friendly, they actively are working at improving all aspects, and have amazing staff. I had loud upstairs neighbors, but that’s a truthfully my only complaint. Donye rocks, and I’m sad to be leaving her!

Recently moved to the property and I can't express how happy I am to have found a nice apartment that is affordable newly remodeled, they work with all types of credit just may have to put a deposit if yours is anything like mine, but get it back when you leave the place in good shape. The new Manager Melanie is incredibly helpful and courteous and couldn't be any better. Maintance is Jared and spot on. If you are looking for a new place that's affordable quite clean and good neighbor's. You should stop in and speak with the manager Melanie and she will help you out!!

Lived here for almost a year now and I would say that Mountain View is one of the best in Bozeman. Here are some of the reasons Mountain View is solid; 1. The buildings are labeled well! One of my pet peeves is receiving/delivering DoorDash/Uber Eats and the complex has the tiniest numbers. Mountain View puts the numbers on a building twice sometimes. This is amazing as a lot of modern apartments take no responsibility in making things easier for UPS/Amazon/Food Delivery etc. 2. The on-site handyman is nice and communicative. He works hard. I’ve had handymen in the past who seem angry, mean, or overwhelmed. This guy is solid. Like him a lot. He’s always seems to be working and he makes things clear and easy to understand. 3. Dog parks are a big deal these days and this one is long and spacious. It’s perfect for an apartment size Dog Park. I’ve been to larger complexes near by that don’t have a dog park at all or if they do it’s not long enough for your dog to run back and forth. 4. The best factor with Mountain View apartments is the location. It’s very close to the best shopping center in town REI/Biankinis/Planet Fitness/Coffee shops, etc. AND it’s also very close to downtown. It might not be the newest apartment complex, but this makes up for it in a lot of ways. Also some of the best local trail access!!🏃‍♂️ 5. One criticism though is ventilation. This might not be exclusive to Mountain View. Some of this seems to be a Montana thing. I would give this five stars ⭐️ if there were better ventilation. Me and my girlfriend come from the East Coast and obviously things are very different there when it comes to the air but we think that some kind of central air system would really help. You could probably avoid this by renting a unit a little bit above ground and/or a side unit that has windows on the corners. Our unit is deep in the ground. We still like it a lot but we wish for better airflow. 6. Great parking. Coming from North Dakota we know it’s vital to have shelter for your car and can save time and energy. This is new to a lot of people from the coastal US. Never had any issues w finding extra spots. Even if you have to park an extra car on the street it’s a very close walk. Huge plus! 7. Mountain View put on new porches, repainted the outside, and put up new signs recently. So you know they’re re-investing. So if you plan to stay a little bit longer, it seems like they’re on top of upgrades, thank God! 8. Another positive is that there’s a, sometimes, 24 hour gas station right around the corner, which is always a huge plus! 9. Another POSITIVE that I have to mention is little road noise. Now this depends on what side of the apartment you’re on, but the majority of the apartment complex is NOT close to the road. To me this is also one of the best benefits of Mountain View. Some people don’t mind road noise but I personally can’t stand hearing cars fly by on my day off. To each his own. At least they have flexibility for this. 10. Also this complex feels safer than others. No homeless encampments near by etc. 11. Great and easy bus access to downtown etc. with Bozeman’s free bus system. Overall Mountain View is as great choice if you’re looking to move to Bozeman! Great job Mountain View!!

I've been here a year and a half so far and the staff here is absolutely fantastic! Donye is the person in the office and honestly is the best thing about MountainView. She's always very quick to respond with issues and has always been sweet to me and my children. She truly cares about the residents here and it shows through her work. The maintenance staff are always polite and quick with any issue. They are remodeling and the apartments look amazing! It's been a blessing to live in a place that truly makes you feel like you matter and not just another tenant.

Donye made the whole stress of finding somewhere to live an absolute breeze! We have been emailing back and forth for a week as I anxiously awaited the Screening and she always replies super fast with as much help as possible! She also went out of her way to go get us a new key cut at 7pm so we could move in that night! An hour past close! talk about above and beyond! The apartment is awesome and in a great location. Yall… I cannot say enough awesome things about this apartment. My favorite part however is the STAFF! Donyee has been so unbelievably helpful in every aspect! She has gone above and beyond for my roommate and I. Ensuring we are taken care of and explained everything very well as far as setting up wifi/getting mailbox keys/parking/etc. Maintenance has been on top of any small calls I’ve had to make! Im so thankful to have found this apartment, it is in the middle of everything you could need in Bozeman! Highly recommend!

Our son rented here for 3 years during college. He just graduated this May. The employees in the office have always been courteous and helpful. He moved from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom 2 years ago. Our son rented here for 3 years during college. He just graduated this May. The employees in the office have always been courteous and helpful. He moved from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom 2 years ago. Before I get into the details of MVA, I need to make it clear that Donye alone deserves five stars. She is the sweetest, most down to earth, and friendly human being I have ever encountered! Her personality alone immediately made me fee at home! She is extremely helpful and knows exactly what she’s doing as she never slacks or blows things off (something you will 99% of the time never encounter with a property manager) Anyway, I would highly recommend living in MVA if you’re looking for a place of quality to live. The community is very clean & well kept, with ample room for children to play outside. The apartments themselves are very clean, & the maintenance is always on call, taking care of any issues immediately. Dedicated parking would be nice, but i don’t seem to ever have an issue finding a close parking spot. MVA also includes free cable with HBO, as well as suprisingly fast wifi, along with a high quality 24/7 gym & business center! All included in rent! Overall this community is a great choice for almost any situation!

I cannot say enough great things about MVA!! They are so amazing and helped me every step of the way while I was having a hard time finding an affordable nice place in town. A very special “thank you” goes out to Donye of MVA, she truly made the process go a lot smoother and assisted me with amazing customer service. She is really the sweetest and most sincere human you will ever meet! I have a service dog and was struggling with finding the appropriate living situation for myself and my canine partner, I wish I would have just got in touch with Donye from the start: from day one she did all she could to find us the perfect unit. She even remembered my name, after just ONE phone call! Even after moving into our unit, the entire staff, management & maintenance at MVA has continued to make my living situation a breeze and helped me with every little thing and immediately jumped on a tiny maintenance issue I had. (It should be noted: My issue could have waited, but they came out ASAP and fixed it up like it was urgent. That’s real customer service!) I highly recommend this company/complex to anyone, especially those of you out there who require k9 partners like myself. Mountain View Apartments really know how to make you feel like family, and treat you and your animal with the upmost respect! I (and my service dog) could not be any happier here, thank you!

First off, a HUGE thank you to Donye in the leasing office who was helpful at every stage of the application process. She made immediate time to show me a vacant unit, explained all the fees and timelines, and took the time to follow up with me via phone even though I decided to rent somewhere else. Her customer service really made the whole experience better. The reason for four instead of five stars is not a reflection on Donye, but rather a personal feeling that the rent is somewhat inflated given the size of the units, but pet-friendly, relatively centrally-located and awesome administrative staff makes a huge difference. It was a close call for my roommates and I and we would recommend our friends to check them out.

Revised: Once the insufferable neighbor moved out, things got considerably better. Now that I'm a lot less irritated, I was able to see that everyone in the leasing office are really nice. I was being nearly as insufferable as the neighbor was. However, the sound insulation between the units is...ridiculously minimal. I have no other complaints about the apartment. When things break or need to be replaced, they come quickly. We have a guard cat, and they're willing to work around our schedule to keep the apartment maintained. Overall, good experience, but if you need quiet, this is not a great place for you. They are about the ONLY outfit that will work with you if you're coming from out of town. Original review: There's no sound insulation between the apartments. I know my upstairs and downstairs neighbors entire music collect, what movies they like to watch, and their sex schedule. Also, I get to listen to the upstairs neighbor's dog bark all day and scratch the floor right over my head when I'm trying to sleep at night. So, if you're looking for quiet place to live, this isn't it. I have to be here with sound muffs on.

I've lived at the apartments for only 4 months and now am moving to another town. This space is a little high priced, but to feel safe, for me, is worth it. Never any problems with anyone living here. I enjoyed being able to have my dog with me, as most places in this area don't allow it. We have been living in the 3rd floor, 3 flights up, and it's been fine. Danye' in the office was super helpful and worked with me long distance to help me have an apt. by the time I arrived. I have no complaints only praise for this location as well, there are tons of places to walk my dog, about 6 minutes from downtown, centrally located, and in a great part of town. Thank you MountainView Apartments for an enjoyable stay!

I retired in 2013 and moved from New York City to Mountain View Apartments last June. And so I have been a resident for just over one year. I must admit that I had some apprehension about living in a ground floor patio glass apartment that, to a lifetime New York chap appeared to be so vulnerable to break in. To my delight I found that living here feels absolutely secure and I am surrounded by the many warm people who are co-residents. Although the apartment is somewhat smaller than the one I had in New York (however it is much more affordable than renting in New York) I am more than compensated by modern internal electrics that easily exceed what I left behind. As an older person I very much appreciate just how good insulation is and how warm I was all Winter. In fact one night we hit -27F which was much colder than anything hitherto experienced in New York. Well, inside I did not know how cold it was (the internal thermostat works just fine and the apartment can be warmed to taste and only experienced the contrast by going outside late at night just to feel the difference. The hot water is great and available instantly. Personally I love hot showers and here need to be careful that the water is not too hot. Kudos to Mountain View. There are many cabinets for storage and this is also a great feature as is the free internet and cable services as an add on and the twin parking spaces are a great convenience. Now leaving mechanics aside, what about the management and services? Well this is the best part. Mountain View's office manger here, Johanna, has been one super lady. Always warm and concerned, she always gives immediately and caring attention to any issue anytime I walk into her office. She has always lucidly addressed any questions I have had and when maintenance is needed, it always seems to arrive quickly and Johanna makes certain of that. Now, her performance is equal or better than "New York Light speed". I must add that I did experience a clogged toilet on a on a weekend and with some apprehension thought., ugh Quo vadis (what now with the office closed and no Johanna to rescue me. Well with some dread I called the emergency number and the machine said the message left would be forwarded. I thought my weekend would be ruined. I sat down got a book and prepared for a long wait. What a surprise was in store! The message went to the maintenance manager. He enjoying his weekend proceeded to stop what he was doing, got in his car and was at my door with needed tools in 13 minutes flat. Yes, I know it was 13 minutes because I have a high tech watch. Amazing grace and kudos to Mountain View. I give Mountain View a four rating only because the rooms are smaller (albeit superior) than what I had. However, this is a great place to live! I highly recommend it to everyone.
